Starfield has reached the top of the PlayStation pre-order charts following its announcement for the PS5 and PS5 Pro.
The PS5 release date for Starfield was announced earlier this week, with the developers also unveiling the Terran Armada DLC and the Free Lanes update. Both the expansion and update are set to arrive with the PS5 version of Bethesda’s space-faring adventure, and players on the new platform seem pretty hyped for it.
Starfield Premium Edition is the Most-Ordered PS5 Game Right Now
According to TheGamer, the PlayStation pre-order charts show that the $69.99 Starfield Premium Edition is currently ranked number one. Following it are two other new games that arrive later this year: the standard editions of LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight and IO Interactive’s 007 First Light. Additionally, the standard edition ($49.99) of Starfield for PS5 ranks fourth, indicating the game is dominating PlayStation’s pre-order charts a month before its release.
The standard edition of Starfield only provides players with the base game, whereas the Premium Edition comes with a boatload of content. Purchasing the pricier version will provide players with access to the paid DLCs, Terran Armada DLC, and Shattered Space, along with 1,000 Creation Credits, Constellation Skin Pack, Digital Artbook, and Original Soundtrack.
