Pokémon Legends: Z-A has a total of 230 Pokémon to collect in the base game, many of which can be difficult to locate, and Goomy certainly falls into that category.
Goomy’s rarity in Pokémon Legends: Z-A presents a challenge for any player looking to complete their Pokédex, particularly with the challenges around evolving it too, so it’s worth boxing it off as soon as possible.
If you’re on the hunt for a Goomy in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, we can tell you all the locations it appears, and where the best area to catch it is.
Where to Find Goomy in Pokémon Legends: Z-A

Goomy can be found in several locations in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, and is encounterable early on in the game, but there’s a much easier way to obtain the Pokémon later in story progression.
During rainy weather, Goomy can be found in several locations, including a bridge in Vert Sector 9 and a rooftop in the same area, a roof in the nearby Vert Sector 8, and at the end of a pier in the Saison Canal. However, due to the weather requirements, it can be tricky to make the Pokémon appear.
Later in the game, when access to the Lumiose Sewers is unlocked, Goomy can be found as a guaranteed spawn in one particular area. While you first visit this location as part of the story, you can revisit the location at any point afterwards once you have spoken to the NPC with a Camerupt standing outside the sewer gate.
When you return to the sewer, head straight from the entrance, not turning toward the ladder on the left-hand side, to access the larger areas of the sewer, to find Goomy hiding opposite, which is a guaranteed spawn no matter the weather and is a much easier way to obtain the Pokémon.
Can You Catch Sliggoo & Goodra in Pokémon Legends: Z-A?
Yes, both Sliggoo and Goodra can be caught in Pokémon Legends: Z-A if you want to fast-track your progress towards Pokédex completion. However, there are restrictions.
Sliggoo can appear near the body of water north of Vert Sector 4, but, like Goomy outside of the sewers, it will only appear when it’s raining, and it may be difficult to catch it, too.
Goodra, meanwhile, can be encountered as an Alpha Pokémon in Wild Zone 20, which unlocks in the post-game. There are two spawn points for Alpha Pokémon beneath the remains of Prism Tower, though there is a large variety of Pokémon that can spawn here, including Tyranitar, Gyarados, and Leafeon.
The spawn in the post-game will also be blocked if you have begun the quest to capture Zygarde by beating Lysandre outside Hotel Z, as Zygarde will wait for you for a battle in this area. Until it is defeated and caught, the Alpha Pokémon guaranteed spawn locations in Wild Zone 20 will be blocked.
