PowerWash Simulator 2 will be released day one in the Xbox Game Pass catalog to subcribers of the service, it has been revealed.
A reveal earlier this year confirmed a release before the end of 2025, which has since been narrowed down to Fall 2025. While there’s not an exact date, there is one huge bit of news.
Confirmed during Gamescom, where PowerWash Simulator 2 has a playable demo, the title will land on the Xbox Game Pass catalog as a day-one release.
PowerWash Simulator 2 Releasing on Game Pass

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), which came with fresh gameplay footage, it was announced that the title is coming to Xbox Game Pass day one and will make “Xbox feel a bit more gnomely this Fall.”
The confirmation isn’t super surprising, considering the initial game, which released on consoles in July 2022 after an early access period on Steam, also launched day one with the Game Pass service, where it has remained ever since.
Crucially, though, expansion packs for the first game are not included with a Game Pass subscription, and it remains to be seen whether the same approach is taken with the sequel.
PowerWash Simulator 2 features a fresh campaign to wash through, with new locations, new multi-stage jobs, new tools, and a home base that you can decorate with things you have collected on your journey.
New tools include an abseiling rig and a cherry picker, helping you get to those hard-to-reach spots that always seem to be just out of reach. For those playing online co-op, progression is shared, while couch co-op is also supported.
