Another reliable source has claimed that a Nintendo Direct is planned for later in July.
Players have been waiting for a new Nintendo Direct for a couple of months now. The last one was in April, when we saw a Nintendo Switch 2-focused event, concentrating on the new console’s games, features, release date and more. Interestingly, a new claim adds to another claim from last month, stating that a Nintendo Switch Direct is planned for later in July.
Next Nintendo Direct Reportedly Arrives After Donkey Kong Bananza’s Release
It is none other than Nate the Hate, who has corroborated the claims about a Nintendo Direct being planned for later in July. In his new YouTube video, Nate reveals that his sources have told him “there is a Direct this month, so the month of July”. However, that Nintendo Direct “will not take place until after Donkey Kong Bananza releases”. Nate adds that he does not have any information regarding “the exact timing at this point”.
Moreover, Nate goes on to speculate that the Nintendo Direct will probably be “in the last week of July”, as that week’s Friday will be August 1 and that is “Nintendo’s earning report day”. A Pokémon Presents event is also planned for this month, and even though it isn’t “unprecedented” for two presentations to take place in the same week, there’s a chance they wouldn’t want to steal attention from each other. Regardless, players should take this information with a grain of salt, as it doesn’t come officially from Nintendo.
In other news, a Nintendo user was banned for playing used games on the Switch 2. Also, a Switch piracy website was recently snatched by the FBI. What are your thoughts on a Nintendo Direct arriving later in July? Let us know through the official Insider Gaming forums discussion.
