It’s been a long wait for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4, so fans understandably want to take advantage of Early Access if it’s available.
Following the success of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 in 2020, Vicarious Visions intended to remaster the third and fourth installments of the series as well. However, the studio merged into Blizzard in 2022 and was renamed Blizzard Albany. As a result, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 was cancelled.
However, Activision ultimately saved the project by handing it over to Iron Galaxy Games, the minds behind Killer Instinct (2013). Due to the turbulent development, fans are eager to get their hands on the game as soon as possible.
Can You Play Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 Early Access?
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 has Early Access, starting on July 8, but only for the Digital Deluxe Edition.
The Digital Deluxe Edition is priced at $69.99 and includes The Doom Slayer and the Revenant playable skaters, two secret moves, additional soundtrack songs, and exclusive themed Create-a-Skater items.
Iron Galaxy did not reveal the start time of Early Access on July 8.
Does Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 Have a Demo?
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater does have a demo, and it is available now.
Pre-ordering the Digital Deluxe Edition unlocks access to the Foundry and College parks demo, in addition to Tony Hawk and Rayssa Leal as playable skaters.
The Foundry Demo is available on PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC, and was initially released on June 8. Foundry, along with all of the other iconic maps, has been remade in 4K resolution. The map takes place in a factory, and there are plenty of hazards to avoid while you are racking up combos.
And as the name suggests, College is set in Berkeley, California, on a college campus. You can ride the rails of the student plaza, and even get on top of the school. Rumors suggest that the full game features around 18 classic levels.
