Worms Armageddon Gets a Backwards Compatible Update, Adds 3 Classic Games

Team17 has announced that Worms Armageddon is getting a backwards compatible update, which is available now.

The Worms Armageddon Anniversary Edition ports three classic Worms titles to the game, which have been updated to suit modern hardware. Team17 refers to the update as the ‘Backworms Compatible Update’.

“Experience the 32-Bit Worms World Party, two 16-Bit Worms Classics and a bonus Boggy B secret cheat code to bring you EVERYTHING in one place on your consoles”, the announcement reads.

The three games coming to the update are:

  • Worms (Super NES)
  • Worms (Genesis/Mega Drive)
  • Worms World Party (Game Boy Advance)

In addition, the update also features the ‘Bobby B’ cheat, which unlocks all content in one place.

Worms Armageddon: Anniversary Edition Features:
