Splitgate 2 Season 1 Chapter 2 to Add Ranked Mode & Mastery Camos

1047 Games continues to keep the Splitgate 2 content train rolling with Season 1 Chapter 2. July 3 is when you can expect to enjoy the new competitive Ranked Mode, and that’s not all, even more content is being promised, including Mastery Camos.

It’s been a mixed bag of news for Splitgate 2 as of late. On one hand, 1047 Games recently announced layoffs, which you never want to see in the industry. Yet, Splitgate 2 itself seems to be doing well, as the FPS has more than tripled its player base since the open beta.

Now, it’s time for Season 1 Chapter 2 details.

Courtesy of the Splitgate 2 official X page, we’ve learned that Splitgate 2 Season 1 Chapter 2 is coming on July 3.

Ranked Arena, Mastery Camos, a new map & more” are also heading through portals straight to your TV screen. New maps are nice, and the inclusion of other new content (possibly new weaponry) is cool, but the headlines are Ranked Mode and Mastery Cmaos.

A Ranked mode is standard is any shooter now. You complete placement matches, you’re assigned a division or league, and you need to win matches and perform well to be promoted. Bad performances and results are usually punished with demotions to lower divisions.

Whereas Mastery Camos have been a staplem of Call of Duty for years. Each gun has a series of challenges which, when completed, reward you with flashy weapon skins—free of charge. Completing them all is incentived with uneblievable weapon skins deserving of your time and attention.
