EA Sports College Football 26 is less than two weeks away, and the developers have dropped a full deep dive into the game’s most popular mode, Dynasty.
EA touted that the deep dive featured nearly 13,000, and it wasn’t joking.
Though we can’t go into everything discussed, you can watch the deep dive below and get an overview of some of the biggest changes coming this year.
College Football 26 Dynasty Mode Features
There are hundreds of updates and changes coming to College Football 26’s Dynasty mode. From the trophy room to real coaches to transfer portal changes, there’s plenty EA Sports hopes takes the game to the next level. Some of the biggest changes include:
- Online Dynasty crossplay between Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5
- Real-world coaches—over 300 head coaches and coordinators
- Coach archetypes
- Improved coaching carousel with more notifications on jobs, new program builder abilities for coaches, and staff history
- Trophy room showcasing your career accomplishments. There are more than 160 rivalry, bowl, and individual awards to earn
- Transfer portal will have a “consistent pool of around 2,000 players entering the portal” each season
- Transfer prospect star ratings are influenced based on position and class year
- Transfer portal can be customized for maximum transfers per team and transfer probability for both player- and CPU-controlled schools
- Dynamic Dealbreakers see play expectations change as the weeks, months, and years progress
- Location-based recruiting sees smaller schools have to focus closer to home than the major programs as they work their way up

College Football 26 launches on July 7 for those with the Deluxe Edition for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. Those with the standard edition will have to wait until July 10.
