Classic Golden Tee Golf Games Coming To Consoles This Summer

Golden Tee Golf is coming to consoles later this summer as Atari has announced Golden Tee Arcade Classics. Featuring eight games, including six Golden Tee Golf titles, Golden Tee Arcade Classics launches on July 17 on digital stores with a physical version coming October 24.

“Tee up the old-school fun! Golden Tee Arcade Classics brings eight legendary arcade classics home – no quarters required,” Atari says.

Golf games in the collection will be Golden Tee 3D Golf, Golden Tee 97, Golden Tee 98, Golden Tee 99, Golden Tee 2K, and Golden Tee Classic. Aside from the six golf games, the collection includes Shuffleshot and World Class Bowling.

The game features an on-screen trackball to give players a similar feeling to what they had with the old arcade cabinets without the need to dump an endless amount of quarters into the machine. There’s also a new practice mode to help you practice before hitting the course for real.

“Golden Tee is a cultural phenomenon that brought people together in bars and arcades, and with Golden Tee Arcade Classics, we are giving everyone the chance to experience that same fun and competition at home,” Atari chief creative officer Mike Mika said via press release.

“We’ve enhanced the games with modern features like practice mode, mulligans, interactive trackball controls and more, giving players new control options tailored to their playstyle. So whether you’re chasing a perfect score and catching up on a few rounds with friends, this collection celebrates everything that makes Golden Tee iconic.”

Golden Tee Arcade Classics will be available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.
