Borderlands 4 launches on September 12, and developer Gearbox Software has revealed the PC specs required in order to best enjoy the latest game in the franchise.
Upon first look at the requirements, it seems clear that Borderlands 4 is going to require a lot of power to run the way the developers intend. While the minimum spec requirements include an Intel Core i7-9700 or AMD Ryzen 7 2700X CPU and a Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 or AMD RX 5700 XT, the recommended requirements paint a different picture.
Gearbox suggests at least a Core i7-12700 or Ryzen 7 5800X CPU along with an RTX 3080 or RX 6800 XT graphics card. They even recommend having at least 32GB of memory in your PC to get the best experience possible. Storage wise, an SSD is required with at least 100GB of available space.
In addition to being available on PC, Borderlands 4 will launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. You can check out the full PC specs for Borderlands 4 below, including their notes on CPU cores and GPU VRAM.
