Dragon Ball Sparking Zero is Getting a New DLC Character Next Week

Dragon Ball Sparking Zero is collaborating with a popular mobile game from the franchise, Dragon Ball Legends, to introduce a brand new playable character as DLC on June 26, 2025.

Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero has received several new DLC characters since launch, with 11 new characters coming from The Hero of Justice Pack, and eight more coming through Daima Character 1. As we await the launch of Daima Character Part 2, the developers have surprised players with a character that many might remember from the mobile gaming universe.

Dragon Ball Sparking Zero x Dragon Ball Legends

The latest DLC character for Dragon Ball Sparking Zero is Shallot, the protagonist from Dragon Ball Legends. Shallot is not a canon character but is considered canon in the Legends universe. He is an ancient Saiyan, born way before the events of Dragon Ball Z. However, he has somehow travelled into the future to meet Goku, Vegeta, and the rest of the Dragon Ball crew. Players can check out the new trailer for Shallot’s gameplay in Sparking Zero below:

The trailer showcases Shallot using a variety of melee attacks to take on enemies like Raditz, Nappa, Ginyu, Frieza and Broly; and the character packs a punch. However, it seems Shallot’s Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan God transformations will not be introduced to Dragon Ball Sparking Zero at the moment. The DLC character will be available through early access from June 23, and the full release will be on June 26.

In other news, Sparking Zero has been rated for the Switch 2 in Saudi Arabia. Also, Gekishin Squadra has confirmed a PS5, PS4 and Switch release.
