Voice Actor Seemingly Confirms Persona 4 Remake Is Real

Yuri Lowenthal, the actor behind the voice of Yosuke Hanamura in Persona 4, has seemingly confirmed that the Persona 4 Remake is real.

In a post on Bluesky, Lowenthal said that he wouldn’t be returning as Yosuke for the game. He said that he asked to return, but developer Atlus didn’t want him to reprise the role.

“And for those who keep asking, no, I will not be returning as Yosuke for the Persona 4 remake,” he said. “I asked. Maybe I even begged, but they don’t want me to come back.”

Rumors of the Persona 4 Remake have been circulating for months. From domain registrations to updates to the website, it felt like it was only a matter of time before the game was announced. With Summer Game Fest and the Xbox Games Showcase coming up, it seems like the time is getting closer for an announcement of some sort from Atlus.

What do you think of Lowenthal all but confirming that the Persona 4 Remake is real? Let us know down below, and join the discussion in the official Insider Gaming forums.
