The talk of Tony Hawk’s remasters has heated up in recent years. Following 2020’s successful Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 Remake, Activision is back with the 3 + 4 Remake, and Tony Hawk has discussed plans for a potential Underground Remake or Remaster.
Whether Tony Hawk is the greatest skateboarder of all time is one thing, but he’s definitely the most popular. Birdman is at the forefront of skating nobility and royalty. He’s championed for more remakes following 2020’s Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2. In 2025, we’re shining up our trucks for the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 Remake.
But Tony Hawk doesn’t want to stop there and is trying to get more made.
Tony Hawk “Campaigning” For Underground Remastered

In an interview with Screen Rant, Hawk was asked about more Tony Hawk remasters.
Regarding their production and future remasters, he said: “It’s not up to me generally. I’ll campaign all I can, but I’m working with a much bigger company that’s a lot smarter than me.”
The next entry in the series (after 3 + 4) is Tony Hawk’s Underground—the favorite for many. It took Tony Hawk’s from an incredible skating game with fun levels, sprints, and cohesive stories, to an open skating game with platforming (allowing you to dismount your board) and a deep narrative.
When asked about Underground, Hawk simply replied: “Yeah, we haven’t even released this game.“
The consensus is that new games depend on the success of previous ones. Ergo, if you want a Tony Hawk’s Underground Remake, you’d better secure an edition of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4!
