EA followed the lead of other live-service games and introduced a Premium Pass as part of the Season 7 update. Here is everything you need to know about the pass and whether it’s worth purchasing.
What is the Premium Pass in EA FC 25?
The Premium Pass is a paid version of the FC Season objectives in Ultimate Team.
Players earn SP by completing objectives and playing matches. In total, there are 40 FC Season levels to progress through, and players must earn 40,000 SP to reach that goal.
Each level features a Standard and Premium reward, meaning players can earn up to 80 rewards if they purchase the Premium Pass.
Start Date
The Premium Pass went live on April 24, coinciding with the start of Season 7, and players have until Wednesday, June 4, to complete it.
If you don’t reach Level 40 by June 4, you won’t get all of the rewards. If you regularly play and mix in a few objectives along the way, it shouldn’t be too difficult to complete.
Premium Pass Price
Players can either purchase the Premium Pass for 1,000 FC Points or 500,000 UT Coins.
For reference, 1,050 FC Points cost $9.99. This is the standard battle pass price for most live-service games.

Is the EA FC 25 Premium Pass Worth it?
Yes, the EA FC 25 Premium Pass is worth it.
I wouldn’t normally advise players to purchase microtransactions, especially in a game that gets replaced every year. Yet, EA deserves credit for introducing a worthwhile battle pass system. All of the cards from the tradeable packs can be sold to make back coins spent on the pass, and most of the reward cards are exciting players that would make most lineups.
