9 Best Fortnite Star Wars Skins, Ranked

Fortnite is the undisputed king of collaborations, and there’s now a seemingly endless number of Star Wars skins available—but which is best? We’ve given our verdict.

From those that were only available as part of a Battle Pass, to those distributed for free, and, lastly, those purchasable from the item shop, we’ve taken a close look at every skin and established our list of the best Fortnite Star Wars skins.

The Best Fortnite Star Wars Skins

9. Obi-Wan Kenobi

Obi-Wan Kenobi is a staple of the Star Wars franchise, immortalized in both the prequel series and the original movies, alongside starring in the fantastic Clone Wars animated series.

The Fortnite Obi-Wan Kenobi skin is a near-perfect replication of Ewan McGregor’s look in the prequel movies.

Paired with the ‘Hello There!’ Emote, the Obi-Wan Kenobi Fortnite skin was first introduced in Chapter 3, Season 2, and makes regular appearances in the Item Shop.

8. Emperor Palpatine

The big skin in the current Chapter 6, Season 3 Battle Pass, Emperor Palpatine is another accurate movie representation of the Sith Lord and is enough to strike fear in even the bravest of Jedis.

I have to say, though, it’s the Super Style for this skin, with the galaxy cloak and yellow trim, that really does it for me.

Emperor Palpatine may return to the Item Shop as a purchasable skin in future, but for now at least, the only way to get your hands on it is through the Galactic Battle season pass.

7. Padme Amidala

Yet another perfect movie recreation, the Padme Amidala skin comes with two styles, the best of which is the Geonosis Combat skin from the famous scene in Attack of the Clones after she is captured alongside Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi. If you’re all about girl power, this is the one for you.

Originally dropping in Chapter 4, Season 2, Padme Amidala is part of The Prequel Trilogy set and regularly returns for purchase in the item shop.

6. Darth Maul

Darth Maul may have only survived for a single movie, then returning in anime series, but he made more than enough of an impression to become a fan-favorite character from the Star Wars franchise and the Fortnite skin is definitely up there as one of the best.

Another skin from The Prequel Trilogy set first introduced in Chapter 4, Season 2, Darth Maul is regularly available for purchase in the Item Shop.

5. Boba Fett

Boba Fett is another fan-favorite character, despite very limited screen time and a swift death in the original movies, but he boasts one of the very best Fortnite Star Wars skins.

Featuring the built-in ‘Targeting Computer Online’ emote, it’s one of the most recognizable looks from the entire franchise.

First introduced in Chapter 3, Season 1, players are craving for Boba Fett to return to the Item Shop as, at the time of writing, it hasn’t been seen since August 2024.

4. Darth Jar Jar

Love him or hate him, Jar Jar is here to stay and the fact that we’ve even got a Darth Jar Jar skin.

It all began as a fan theory before a cameo appearance in a LEGO animated Disney+ special, which is testament to how popular he is—and the Fortnite skin is more than worthy of a place in our list.

Introduced this season, Darth Jar Jar is only available to purchase when you earn a set amount of XP.

However, expect him back in the Item Shop in the future.

3. Darth Vader

Darth Vader was always going to feature on this list of the best Fortnite Star Wars skins, but the skin is a contentious one due to its rarity, as it was a Battle Pass item and, therefore, will never be available again.

Instead, the Samurai version of Darth Vader has been created, but it doesn’t compete.

The Darth Vader skin was included on page 10 of the Chapter 3, Season 3 Battle Pass, which was available all the way back in 2022, and now, three years later, this skin is unavailable.

2. General Grievous

Fortnite's next update adds General Grievous but it has been delayed.

Another of the fine skins introduced this season, General Grievous is the extra reward available in this season’s Battle Pass and is worth the grind.

His regular style and the unlockable version look fantastic, so are worth getting, and it’s a welcome reward for playing the season.

Purchase the Battle Pass and earn a total of 28 levels to unlock all rewards.

In future, this skin may be available to purchase in the Item Shop.

1. Mandalorian Warrior

Finally dropping into the game on May 22, the Mandalorian Warrior skin is highly customizable, giving you the flexibility to create a style that suits you, and this is the reason why it is the undisputed best Fortnite Star Wars skin of them all.

With the customization options, you can create a look akin to the Mandalorian Disney+ series, which had a skin only available in the Battle Pass, and create you’re own Boba Fett look if you’ve gotten too impatient of waiting for the skin to return to the store.
