Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is littered with easter eggs, though they aren’t that easy to note unless you keep your ears sharp and eyes wide open. There are dozens of them throughout the main story and open world, but for now, here are 10 Spider-Man 2 easter eggs you need to see.
10. Wolverine Suit Tease
Insomniac’s been silent on its Wolverine game, but with Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 finally behind them, they are going to ramp up production. That said, we haven’t seen anything new about Wolverine since the teaser back in 2021….until now. If you take Miles all the way up to level 52, you’ll unlock the Best There Is Suit, which is a Wolverine-themed Spidey suit based on the comic of the same name.
9. Phin’s Memories
Players who finished Miles Morales will definitely remember Phin. If you head over to Trinity Church in lower Manhattan, you’ll find another amazing easter egg, Miles and Phin’s science trophy atop the small tower. And if that didn’t put tears in your eyes, the cemetery in Harlem also has the graves of Phin and Rick.
8. Silk Might Be Playable In Marvel’s Spider-Man 3
For those of you who have finished the main story, you’ll remember the silhouette of Cindy Moon. If you don’t know who that is, Cindy Moon is the civilian persona of Silk, one of the Spider-Women. That may be Insomniac teasing her being a central character in Marvel’s Spider-Man 3.

7. Daredevil DLC
There are rumors floating around about a Daredevil DLC for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. Normally I wouldn’t give these credit, but Insomniac has recently released a patch for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 which re-added the previously missing Nelson and Murdock plaque in Hell’s Kitchen, so who knows?
6. Knull, God of the Symbiotes
You might remember the precious rock Venom so dearly loves in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. If you look closer, you’ll see a weird spiral symbol on the rock. That’s actually an easter egg referencing Knull, God of the Symbiotes. It may mean Knull sent the Venom symbiote to Earth to plan an invasion. Either way, whatever it is, there’s a pretty good chance Knull will be a future antagonist.
5. Stop Carnage. Together.
The Flame quest line with Peter and Yuri ends with the serial killer Cletus Kasidy flying into the sunset with a symbiote. Cletus is actually the host of the symbiote Carnage in the comics, so that’s another villain all but confirmed to appear soon enough.
4. Bring Norman The Goblin-Serum
Another Easter egg can be found in one of Spider-Man 2’s final cutscenes. After breaking down beside a comatose Harry, Norman takes out his phone and orders someone to bring him the “G-Serum”. While the G could stand for many things, there’s been a lot of foreshadowing for the Green Goblin’s inevitable arrival, and it looks like the time might finally be right.
3. The Strange Dr. Strange References
After chasing down Black Cat in one of the main story missions, you’ll see that she has The Wand of Watoomb in her possession. And that is an item she stole from the Sanctum Santorum, Dr. Stranger’s residence which you’ll rid of enemies right before the chase begins.

2. Into the Spider-verse
Besides the Spider-verse suits for Miles and Peter, there’s another big Spider-verse Easter egg in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. After you collect all the Spider-Bots, you’ll be prompted to enter an alleyway. A brief cutscene will play and you’ll see a cut character from the Spider-verse movies. And right before the character takes their leave, they’ll name-drop Miguel O’Hara, Spider-Man 2099 from Across the Spider-verse.
1. Spider-Man Pointing Meme
Sometimes when you participate in random street crimes as Peter or Miles, the other Spider-Man might join in on the action. When this does happen, get closer to the other Spider-Man, and you should see that both of them automatically point at each other. This is a nod to the Spider-Man pointing at each other meme that has been blowing up the past few years, and if you ask me, that’s the ultimate easter egg in any Spider-Man game.
