Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 PC: When’s An Official Port Releasing?

With Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, PlayStation has proved yet again that it has the best narrative titles. The slick visuals and fantastic gameplay of Spidey’s latest web-slinging adventure have left PS5 owners awe-struck, and PC players wondering when or if they’ll be able to experience the same feeling.

Insomniac hasn’t commented on whether Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is coming to PC, so for now, it remains a PS5 exclusive. That’s sad news for folks without one, but seeing as the first game and its Miles Morales spin-off did grace PC users, the second numbered installment should crawl onto PC eventually. Here are all the details of when that might be and what you can expect.

Will There Be A Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 PC Port?

Yes, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will have a PC port. However, it’ll be quite a while before that happens.

Many PlayStation exclusives have made their way onto PC. God of War (2018), Returnal, and Horizon Zero Dawn are to name a few. Marvel’s Spider-Man was released on PC nearly four years after it launched on the PS4, whereas Miles Morales launched after two.

Since then, PlayStation has been putting out PC versions of its first-party games at a rapid rate, so Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will indeed join them, and odds are that it won’t take as long as its predecessor.

When Is Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Releasing On PC?

The Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 PC port does not have a release date. Officially, there aren’t any plans of porting the game to PC at the moment, so it’s only playable on the PS5.

A personal best guess would be that PlayStation will announce the Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 PC port just as Insomniac’s Wolverine title nears completion. It would not only sell well but would considerably hype up the crowd for Wolverine and push players toward purchasing a PS5 Pro console which should be released around the same time.

Having said that, excitement is just as high for the highly anticipated God of War: Ragnarok PC port, and considering the release cycle of the two games, Ragnarok needs to be out first before Peter and Miles swing to PCs worldwide. In any case, even that estimate rounds off to an early 2025 or later release date for the Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 PC version.
