Call of Duty Zombies: Every Game Ranked From Worst to Best
While Zombies may be an incredibly popular game mode, it is actually only available in nine out of 23 Call of Duty titles. So which one of these titles has the best Zombies mode?
The newest Zombies mode is in Call of Duty: Vanguard. While the game mode is still enjoyable, this is definitely the weakest of the entire series. Vanguard, in general, sort of flopped within the Call of Duty community. Many felt that the Zombies game mode was underwhelming, making it number nine on our list.
8. Black Ops IIII
Probably due to everyone being focused on Blackout, Call of Duty’s first Battle Royale mode, Black Ops IIII‘s Zombie mode ended up falling quite short. Not too many people found it interesting, as it gained barely any traction within the Call of Duty community. The Black Ops series had neglected to release a bad Zombies mode until Black Ops IIII, making it number eight on our list of every Call of Duty Zombies mode, ranked from worst to best.
7. Black Ops Cold War
Unfortunately, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, the most recent Black Ops title, failed to give fans a solid Zombies mode once again. With this title being released during the height of COVID-19, many expected it to be one of the best Zombie modes ever made. Sadly, this was not true, as Black Ops Cold War fell short within the Call of Duty Zombies community.
Call of Duty: WWII was the first Call of Duty title to add a dark twist to the Zombies mode. Yes, previous Zombies modes were dark, but WWII gave it much more of a horrific twist. With crazy realistic graphics, this version of Zombies was gruesome, bloody and a great game mode for horror fans. While not being the best Zombies mode ever released, WWII still gave fans a fun and scary experience, making it number six on our list of every Call of Duty Zombies game, ranked from worst to best.
5. Infinite Warfare
Arguably the most underrated Call of Duty Zombies game is Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. Due to the game’s lack of popularity in general, this Call of Duty title ended up flopping. Its Zombies mode though, was quite legendary. Each map put players in a different era of cinema, having them fight zombies kung fu style to being stuck in a black-and-white 50s movie while warding off these monsters.
Call of Duty: Black Ops III held its ground when continuing the legacy of Black Ops Zombies games. While combining some of the futuristic gameplay that came along with this title with terrifying zombies, the game’s Zombie mode gave players a newer fast-paced version of the game mode, making it extremely fun for everyone.
3. World at War
Call of Duty: World at War was the first title to introduce Zombies. The classic Nazi Zombies that players had to fight became a favorite amongst gamers, immediately solidifying it as a popular game mode.
