Xbox Game Pass is undergoing some major changes, and it’s looking like the service is the best it’s ever been. Partner that with plenty of games offering early access, and there are plenty of ways for you to get your hands on new games, but is 007 First Light affected by either of these?
It’s bound to be a question on plenty of people’s minds, as the hype continues to swell for Bond’s origin adventure. Here’s whether 007 First Light will be available on Xbox Game Pass, as well as whether there is early access available for the Bond adventure.
Will 007 First Light Be On Xbox Game Pass
Based on early promotional material, it’s practically a guarantee that 007 First Light will not be a day-one Xbox Game Pass addition.
Thankfully, the game will be arriving on both the Xbox Series X|S, but you’ll just need to pay full price for the game instead. It’s not too shocking, as IO Interactive titles haven’t had a history of launching on Xbox Game Pass, and with the Bond name carrying the title, it’s likely to sell just fine on its own.

However, the future could tell a very different story. Other IO Interactive titles, like Hitman, have arrived on the service a few years after their release dates, so there’s no ruling out that the same couldn’t be said for 007 First Light. Still, that’d likely be at least a year away, and with no guarantee, your best bet is to pick the game up for yourself.
Does 007 First Light Have Early Access?
007 First Light has a 24-hour early access period for those of you who pre-order the game on any digital storefront.

Typically, early access is usually locked behind a more premium edition of the game, but when it comes to 007 First Light, you just need to pre-order the standard edition. When you do so, you’ll receive the Deluxe Edition content at no additional cost, which includes:
- 24-hour early access
- Four Outfits:
- Day of the Dead
- Desert Explorer
- Silent Anchor
- Gentleman Operator
- Weapon Skin:
- Agent’s Mark
- Gleaming Pack, including four gadget skins:
- Gleaming Lighter
- Gleaming Earphones
- Gleaming Dart Gun
- Gleaming Pen
So, if you really want to play 007 First Light just a little bit earlier than anyone else, just pre-order the game, and you’ll be able to boot it up on May 26, instead of the standard May 27 release date.
