007 First Light is teeing up to be a linear, narrative adventure game, packed with missions that send the famous James Bond all across the world to a variety of different locations. You’ll attend galas in England and infiltrate facilities in Iceland, and everything else in between.
As fun as the mission variety looks, there are questions surrounding how long the game will be and whether it will have enough juice to tide gamers over for the long haul. We want as much James Bond as possible, but will 007 First Light be a short and sweet adventure instead?
Insider Gaming has the information you’re looking for, as campaign details have finally emerged, including how long it should take to beat.
How Many Hours To Beat 007 First Light?

According to YouTuber JorRaptor, 007 First Light’s campaign will last for roughly 20 hours or so, at least for the average gamer.
JorRaptor supposedly spoke to the Gameplay Director of 007 First Light, as well as a few other developers, and the general consensus seemed to be that it would take the average gamer around 20 hours to beat the main campaign.

That probably means if you’re especially skilled, or play on a lower difficulty, the runtime could maybe drop to around 15 hours, or rise to 25 if you’re looking for a challenge.
Compare that to other similar titles in the action-adventure genre, and that’s a great length for the game’s campaign! Uncharted 4 takes around 15 hours to complete, and that game has excellent pacing and a nice variety in mission locales; if 007 First Light is anything similar, we should be in for a treat!
How Long Is A 007 First Light Completionist Run?
JorRaptor makes it clear that the runtime for 007 First Light could increase by a fair amount when you factor in the Tactical Simulator missions.
These allow you to replay certain missions with a variety of modifiers, adding new challenges with new rewards on the line. It appears similar to Hitman’s Escalations, where levels can be remixed in a variety of ways. It should hopefully add an extra layer of replayability to the game, which will greatly impact the game’s runtime.

When you factor in these TacSim missions, the original campaign, and any extra collectables or trophies to earn, 007 First Light could easily take upwards of 30/40 hours to complete. And if you’re looking for some long-term replayability akin to Hitman, it looks like that should also be on the cards.
