If you’re thinking of picking up Invincible VS solely for the Story Mode, then at $49.99, this is highly NOT recommended. Most people won’t anyway, as fighting game Story Modes are always just extra content ot enrich the overall experience.

But yes, we can confirm that an average Story Mode playthrough will clock in at around one hour.
The difficulty you choose and how well-versed you are in fighting games might have a bearing on your runtime, but even if you opt for the hardest difficulty, you shouldn’t be looking at more than two hours, tops.
Story Mode is fun and brings the series’ characters to life with breathtaking cutscenes and flash visuals, but there’s only so much Pow! to go around.
How Many Difficulty Levels in Invincible VS Story Mode?
The Invincible VS Story Mode has four different difficulty levels to choose from: Easy, Normal, Hard, and Viltrumite.
If you’ve played fighting games before, it’s the usual case here: Easier difficulties are more forgiving, and the AI responses are slower and less complex, whereas the latter end of the scale will see the opposition deliver blistering combos that can decimate your HP bar and give you far fewer windows to attack.
