Early access games always pose the question of cost, and whether the price tag is too high to justify the purchase. You can decide for yourself, as we’ve managed to track down Subnautica 2 Early Access’ price.
It can be difficult justifying buying an early access game. After all, it’s not a finished entity, and you’re essentially paying for a work-in-progress. That said, if anything has earned your time, money, and loyalty, it’s probably the Subnautica series. With two successful games under its belt, Unknown Worlds Entertainment is ready to go again with a new, bigger sequel—Subnautica 2.
How Much Is Subnautica 2 Early Access?

It’s been confirmed on the official Subnautica 2 Discord that early access will set you back $29.99.
Under an FAQ question asking: ‘How much will it cost?’, we get our answer:
‘Subnautica 2 will cost $29.99 USD. Please check your local storefronts for regional pricing.’
$29.99 is the default amount, but the price could be slightly more, depending on where you live. This entitles you to all content available at launch, as well as the subsequent years ahead of early access content and development.
