James Bond films are renowned for featuring some of the most prominent celebrities across the cast, with high-profile actors typically taking centre stage. Now that the 007 brand is returning to video-game form, it’s bound to get people wondering who’s taking on the crucial roles of Bond and his allies.
Once you pick up the game, you’re bound to recognise some characters, if not by their voice, then certainly by their likeness, as 007 First Light has managed to accrue a Bond-tier cast itself. Check them all out below, as well as where you might know them from.
All Major Voice Actors In 007 First Light
007 First Light has a solid voice cast full of recognisable actors, though the main man himself, James Bond, might be new to you.
The cast has a solid backlog of previous works, with some having worked on the likes of The Walking Dead, Diablo 4, and Andor. As you might notice, a lot of these actors are making their video game debuts, but they’re just as recognisable on the silver screen.

Of course, everyone will want to know who is playing James Bond, and the answer could surprise you. The central role has been filled by Irish actor Patrick Gibson, who makes his video game debut as the voice and likeness of 007.

007 First Light Voice Actors’ Past Roles
If there are any names on the list above that you recognize but can’t quite place your finger on where you know them from, here’s a breakdown of some of the main actors and their previous roles.
Patrick Gibson
With no Bond on the big screen, Patrick Gibson is the one and only 007 for the time being. It’s big boots to fill, but the Irishman has had his fair share of roles in the past.
His most notable role is probably appearing as a young Dexter Morgan in Dexter: Original Sin, though he also had leading roles in Shadow and Bone, as well as The OA.
Priyanga Burford
Funnily enough, this isn’t Priyanga’s first appearance in a Bond project, as she had a small role in No Time To Die, Daniel Craig’s final outing. She was only an MI6 scientist then, but now she’s cast as M, a considerably bigger part.
Historically, she’s made most of her credentials in television, appearing in the likes of Housebound, Avenue 5, Before We Die, and Steeltown Murders.
Lennie James
As for recognisable stars, Lennie James could top the list. He’s got a huge catalogue of work behind him, though fans of The Walking Dead would surely have fond memories of Morgan Jones—he even got his own spinoff, Fear The Walking Dead.

He’s appeared in plenty of other popular works, too, with the likes of Blade Runner 2049, Invincible and Archer all popular outings. As for video games, this won’t be his debut, as he voiced Lord Shaxx in Destiny 2.
Kiera Lester
You would be forgiven for not recognising Kiera Lester, as playing Moneypenny in 007 First Light is one of her most prominent roles. She’s appeared in Wreck, Ruby Speaking, and Sister Boniface Mysteries.
Alastair Mackenzie
Alastair Mackenzie tops the cast alongside Lennie James, as the veteran actor has appeared in a variety of acclaimed shows. Andor and The Crown top the charts, but he was also in an episode of Black Mirror.
Noemie Nakai
Noemie Nakai is bound to get a lot of new fans after 007 First Light, as she plays the coveted femme fatale Bond girl. Her most notable previous role was in Tokyo Vice, though she’s made appearances across Army of Thieves and The Emperor’s Cook.
Gemma Chan
Dr Selina Tan is played by Gemma Chan, who has a strong catalogue of prior works, including Captain Marvel, Eternals, and Crazy Rich Asians. She also voiced Erys in Diablo 4, so this won’t be her first video game rodeo.
Lenny Kravitz
Lenny Kravitz is a Grammy-winning musician, but don’t let that fool you, as he’s had plenty of acting roles in the past. His most notable was probably Cinna in the Hunger Games, though he’s of course appeared in tons of his own music videos.
