XBOX Removes Tony Hawk 1+2 From Game Pass Schedule

XBOX has made a last-minute adjustment to the Game Pass schedule with the removal of Tony Hawk 1+2, just a week before the title was set to land on the service.

Last week, XBOX revealed the latest slew of games coming to the Game Pass service in July, headlined by the Premium Edition of Gears of War: Reloaded, Palworld’s big 1.0 update, and several other titles.

Activision’s Tony Hawk 1+2 was among them, set to join the subscription service on July 21, but the XBOX Wire article has now been edited with the removal of the games.

Tony Hawk 1+2 Removed From Game Pass Schedule

An editor’s note on the article, dated July 13th, reads: “We’ve removed Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 from the list of titles coming soon to Game Pass.”

No reason has been provided for the removal of the game, and the fact that the title is an Activision game, which is owned by Microsoft, raises further questions about the removal from the schedule.

Further confusion also comes from the fact that Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 is still available on the Game Pass service, suggesting it’s not an issue with the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater IP.

It remains to be seen whether the removal of the title is for a delay, or if the door is closed for the game to be released through the service at all, but the last-minute removal has certainly raised eyebrows.

Fortunately, there’s still a wide array of games available on Game Pass to enjoy, and skating fans have the aforementioned Pro Skater 3+4 to dive into, along with EA’s Skate revival.

Check out the 2020 reveal trailer for the title below.
