XBOX Insiders have received a new set of features on the console, focusing on game captures, achievements, and more.
The Xbox Insiders program gives a select group of gamers the opportunity to test upcoming features early and provide feedback before they’re released to everyone. Recently, the latest addition for Insiders was an ad-based cloud gaming tier. Now, several new features have been introduced to enhance the experience for console players.
XBOX Insiders Get Upgrades for Game Captures, Achievements, and More
The first new feature being tested by Xbox Insiders on console is the inclusion of chat audio in game captures. This feature is currently available only to Insiders in the Alpha Skip-Ahead ring. When users are in a party, they can choose whether to include chat audio in their recordings. If they are not in a party, they still have the option to add game chat audio to their captures.
The next feature will add new ways to view your achievement history, and this will also only be available for Insiders in Alpha Skip-Ahead. With this feature, players will be able to sort games by name, completion percentage, Gamerscore earned, or number of Achievements unlocked, along with the default last viewed option. These options can also be used in ascending or descending order.
Another feature that was previously available to Xbox Insiders on console will be available to more players next week. This feature will provide greater control over cloud saves, allowing players to restore previously synced cloud saves directly from their Xbox console in supported games, starting with Forza Horizon 6. Finally, a new update that is available to all Xbox players now allows users to add up to 1,000 games to their wishlist.
Players can read more about the new features in the latest blog post.
