Marvel Rivals Season 9.5 Roadmap Revealed

The full roadmap for Marvel Rivals Season 9.5 has been revealed by NetEase, with a new character and events as the highlights for the month ahead.

Set to last five weeks this time around, the mid-season split follows what was a colossal update in Season 9, which saw the reworking of the Team-Up mechanic, as well as the arrival of Jubilee and a much-needed Black Widow rework.

Season 9.5 is all set to kick off on August 7, and there’s a ton of new content to expect across the month.

Kicking things off is the arrival of a new Vanguard, The Hood. Parker Robbins is a gun-wielding tank who uses his Oblivion Cloak to harness dark energy and enter a demonic state. Oh, and his Ultimate is the literal Gun Devil—need I say more?

Aside from the new hero, a host of buffs and nerfs will be dropping when Season 9.5 begins, but there’s more in store for the game than just character adjustments, including some new and returning events.

Up first is the Creed of Akkaba, but all eyes are bound to be on the following week, as the second wave of Summer Swimsuit skins is slated for arrival. The roadmap also confirms that of those new skins, Black Cat, Winter Soldier and Star Lord swimsuits will be available in the Krakoan Reels Vol. 2 event, though two will likely be limited to the Premium edition.

Following that, the final three weeks of the season will largely see cosmetics added to the game, as Marvel Rivals builds up to the highly anticipated Season 10.
