Beach vibes are unmatched, and even heroes need to unwind once in a while, especially if they’re battling a multiversal threat! Thankfully, NetEase give them just the opportunity to do so in Marvel Rivals, with the Summer Swimsuit skins.
Only a handful of characters receive them every Summer, and there’s no denying that they’re some of the best-selling cosmetics in the game—we’ll let you guess why. That said, a second batch has just been announced for this year, and they include some skins that you simply won’t want to miss.
With that in mind, here are all the details for the Summer Festival Vol. 2 Event in Marvel Rivals, as well as every Summer Swimsuit skin scheduled for the event.
Marvel Rivals Summer Festival Vol. 2 Event Start Date & Times
The Summer Festival Vol. 2 Event will begin on Thursday, August 13, and it will feature six new Swimsuit Special costumes.
Headlining the event is Krakoan Reels Vol. 2, as another fishing minigame-style Event Pass has been confirmed to arrive in Season 9.5 of Marvel Rivals. You’ll play matches, earn bait, and cast for fish as you collect currency and buy cosmetics tied to the new wave of Summer Swimsuit Specials.
As for when it begins, it’s not been confirmed, but events in Marvel Rivals tend to begin at 3 AM PT, so expect the same here. As for when it starts around the world? We’ve adjusted the timings in the table below:

All New Marvel Rivals Swimsuit Skins In Summer Festival Vol. 2
Six new Swimsuit skins are scheduled to arrive in Marvel Rivals with the Summer Festival Vol. 2 Event, and it’s a Duelist’s dream.
The six lucky picks are:
- Star-Lord
- Winter Soldier
- Scarlet Witch
- Black Cat
- Storm
- Magik
As for how you can obtain them, it’s yet to be revealed. Three skins were available in the first rendition of Krakoan Reels, so it’s safe to assume the same might happen again, whilst the other three may well be on offer in the Store, or perhaps another Pop the Balloon gacha minigame instead.
