CD Projekt Red has confirmed all the improvements coming to The Witcher 3 Remastered, including performance improvements across PS5 and other platforms.
CD Projekt Red’s latest release, The Witcher 3 Remastered, has finally launched, and it’s attracting players in droves, with the game already breaking its previous player-peak records. However, the experience hasn’t been smooth for everyone, as many have complained about performance issues while playing the title.
Witcher 3 Devs to Address Performance Issues, Particularly on PS5
A new post by CD Projekt Red on X (formerly Twitter) reveals the upcoming improvements for Witcher 3 Remastered. The first point itself states that developers are working on more performance improvements, “particularly on PS5”. Many players on PS5 have reported issues like framerate drops, lag, crashes, and other problems, so hopefully the devs should be able to fix that soon.
Other than that, the developers will also provide more visual adjustments, fixes to My Rewards/Twitch Drops, bringing Ukrainian localization to other regions on the PlayStation 5 and XBOX Series X/S, and voiceover audio fixes for consoles. The developers have also confirmed that many of the issues listed above should be fixed in the next update. At the same time, they are also investigating other issues and player reports.
