Battlefield 6 is almost here, and fans of the franchise are riddled with excitement. However, in this age of expensive games, players are looking for ways to cut down the costs of the titles they purchase. One of the best ways to do that these days is with a subscription service like EA Play. Is Battlefield 6 on EA Play for players to lessen the cost of the game at launch?
Read on to find out everything we know about Battlefield 6 on EA Play.
Is Battlefield 6 on EA Play?
Battlefield 6 will be available on EA Play for EA Play Pro members. At launch, they’ll have access to the Phantom Edition of Battlefield 6, which is (currently) the highest version of the game.
This is typical for EA Play, with the platform offering the highest digital edition of every game that comes out, provided you’ve got the EA Play Pro subscription.
Do EA Play Members Get Battlefield Labs Access?
If you’re an EA Play Pro member, you would have gotten access to the beta that kicked off on August 7 and ran to August 8. This was otherwise only available to those in Battlefield Labs or those who acquired an access code by watching a streamer for 60 minutes during the Battlefield 6 multiplayer reveal.
EA Play Pro members are not guaranteed access to Battlefield Labs, which is a different platform entirely and requires a separate application to be submitted to gain access.
Also, all EA Play members (Pro or not) will receive an exclusive EA Play Deployment Pack when Battlefield 6 is released on October 10. This will be in addition to the extra content included in the Phantom Edition (provided you’re an EA Play Pro member).
Do EA Play Members Get Early Access to Battlefield 6?
No, EA Play members do not get specific early access to Battlefield 6. The game will launch holistically on October 10 for every player at the same time, preventing anyone from gaining an edge by getting an early access reward.
The only way you can play Battlefield 6 early is by taking part in the Battlefield Labs tests that have just opened up again. Beyond that, you’ll need to wait until launch. It’s worth stressing that your progress in the beta and tests will not carry across to the full game.
