Fans of the creature-capture genre have plenty to look forward to with the release of Aniimo rapidly approaching, and we’ve got all the answers to the key questions relating to the price of the title.
Pawprint Studio is releasing Aniimo globally this month, landing across a multitude of platforms including PlayStation 5, XBOX Series X|S, PC, and Mobile.

Is Aniimo Free-to-Play?
Yes, Aniimo is launching as a free-to-play title and you won’t require any purchase to jump into the game, though there are optional microtransactions.
Aniimo’s free-to-play nature is core to the game, and you won’t have to splash out to enjoy the experience, which the absence of major pay mechanics, including no Gacha content.
There was some Gacha content during the playtests, but this was removed following player feedback, and instead, content that was previously locked behind this approach is now freely available through exploration and progression.
However, if you do want to kit yourself out for the release of Aniimo, there are some additional pre-order incentives available, though these are entirely optional.
All Aniimo Pre-Order Bonuses & Rewards
There are two Pre-Order Packs available for Aniimo, with the options being for the Advanced Edition and the Collector’s Edition.
The Advanced Edition is priced at $9.99, while the Collector’s Edition is the most expensive option available, coming at a cost of $19.99. However, you don’t need to purchase either, as the base game is free-to-play.
Like many free-to-play titles, the game does include in-game microtransactions, allowing for you to earn extra content, speed along your progression, or add further customization options.
