The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 beta is live right now! Infinity Ward is back at the helm with its newest presentation of military FPS conflict, but if you have beta access and can’t get in, let’s run through why.
By now, you probably have gotten and redeemed a Modern Warfare 4 beta code. You’ve waited patiently, and it’s not time to finally get your MW4 groove on. However, as with all big online launch days, nothing ever goes smoothly, right?
Why Can’t I Get Into Modern Warfare 4 Beta Servers Right Now?
The main reasons you can’t play the Modern Warfare 4 beta right now are either because the servers are full, you don’t have the latest MW4 beta update installed, or you haven’t redeemed your MW4 beta code key.
Firstly, if you haven’t already, make sure you have redeemed your Modern Warfare 4 beta code, as signing up through Activision isn’t enough to play.
For most of you, it will be the former. From first-hand experience, Battlefield 6 launch day and trying to buy Hollow Knight: Silksong from the PlayStation Store on release are two notable examples of what you’re suffering through right now.

There’s too much consumer demand. Even a company as big as Activision only has finite room in its servers. Which means you’ll have to queue until there’s a free spot. But once you’re in, you’re golden. Just make sure you don’t quit the overall game or lose connection.
The internet is another big reason why you’re struggling. If your connection isn’t stable, it might prevent you from downloading the beta’s newest updates, or cause you to lose connection altogether, and put you back in the server queue.
When Will I be Able to Play Modern Warfare 4 Beta?
Unfortunately, the only thing you can do right now is sit tight and wait for a spot to open up in the servers, or ensure you’ve met the game’s PC specs and requirements, or update the game to the latest version.
