If there’s one thing better than securing kills in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 beta, it’s calling in the Killstreaks to reap the rewards, especially if there’s a Nuke on the cards.
That said, you won’t have access to them all from the moment you load into the beta. Instead, you’ll have to unlock them all through gameplay, and judging by some of the later options, you’ll want to add them to your streaks.
With that in mind, here’s how to unlock every Killstreak in the Modern Warfare 4 beta, and whether you can call in a Nuke.
Every MW4 Killstreak & Unlock Requirements

There are 17 Killstreaks in the Modern Warfare 4 beta, with 11 kills needed to earn the highest-level ones.
In an ideal world, you should be able to pull off a UAV, as a three-kill streak shouldn’t be too demanding, but the likes of a Gunship or Attack Helicopter are slightly more demanding. Be quick on your toes and keep your ammo topped up, and with enough practice you should be calling them in for fun.
Here’s every Killstreak in the Modern Warfare 4 beta, as well as how to unlock them, and how many kills are required for each one:
| Killstreak Name | Number of Kills Required | How to Unlock in Beta |
|---|---|---|
| UAV | 3 | Already unlocked |
| Bomb Glider | 3 | Unlocked at Level 6 |
| Care Package | 3 | Unlocked at Level 9 |
| Impact Warhead | 3 | Unlocked at Level 12 |
| Artillery Beacon | 5 | Already unlocked |
| Crossfire | 5 | Unlocked at Level 20 |
| Combat Drone | 5 | Unlocked at Level 26 |
| Counter UAV | 5 | Unlocked at Level 31 |
| Wheelson | 7 | Unlocked at Level 16 |
| Missile Salvo | 7 | Unlocked at Level 24 |
| Railgun Sentry | 7 | Unlocked at Level 38 |
| Attack Helicopter | 9 | Already unlocked |
| Deathstalker | 9 | Unlocked at Level 35 |
| Advanced UAV | 9 | Unlocked at Level 40 |
| Argonaut | 9 | Unlocked at Level 45 |
| Gunship | 11 | Unlocked at Level 51 |
| Air Lockdown | 11 | Unlocked at Level 55 |
Can You Call In A Nuke In The MW4 Beta?
It’s not been confirmed whether you can call in a Nuke during the Modern Warfare 4 beta, but footage of what the cutscene looks like has been revealed.
Usually in Call of Duty games, if you manage to secure a 25 Killstreak, you’re rewarded with calling in a Nuke to end the game early, absolutely annihilating the lobby. It’s been confirmed that Nukes are returning in Modern Warfare 4, and Activision even shared the short cutscene online, with the player zipping into the sky whilst flipping off the explosion.
That said, it’s unclear what the kill requirement is this time around, and whether the feat is available in the beta. Of course, within the first hour of the beta being live, someone is bound to have earned the 25-kill achievement, and once it’s confirmed as possible, we’ll update the article accordingly.
