Every Chapter of Deltarune so far has offered a secret Egg as a collectable, and Chapter 5 is no different. They’re incredibly easy to miss, and whilst they’re optional, there’s a certain element of mystery surrounding their purpose.
In fact, some Eggs make select PlayStation trophies become unavailable, so if you’re after the Platinum it might be best to find them after you’ve completed a full playthrough.
Still, if you want the latest Egg, you’re in luck; here’s where to find the secret Egg in Deltarune Chapter 5.
Where To Find The Secret Egg In Deltarune Chapter 5
To find the secret Egg in Deltarune Chapter 5, you’ll need to begin the hunt in the Cliffs area, specifically by the Shop.
From here, you’ll want to head to the right, where you’ll find a wheat field. Pass through this area until you find a Torii Gate, and dash through repeatedly until you’ve destroyed every piece of wheat.

Once that’s done, head back through, and you’ll find one piece of wheat that keeps respawning. Continue to dash back and forth, destroying it each time. Eventually, a small, blue balloon will appear, which floats away to the left. Follow it.
You’ll find yourself in a new room, with a dog attached to a balloon. The dog will float around the room and hover over some flowers; interact with them in the order that the dog floats by them, until they’ve all been activated.
Complete the puzzle, and a Watering Can will appear on a plinth in the middle of the room. Use it to create a path on the left side of the room, but be quick, as the floating dog will try to steal it back.
Finally, you’ll reach a room with a red tree, with a mysterious man hidden behind it. Speak with him to obtain the Egg.
Are There More Secret Eggs In Deltarune Chapter 5?
No, there is only one secret Egg to find in Deltarune Chapter 5.
When you get this Egg, the mysterious man might point to the distance when you ask for more, suggesting that there are more Eggs out there to be found.
However, if you’ve collected all of the previous Eggs from other chapters, you’ll receive different dialogue. He’ll suggest you stop looking for him before sharing some information about Kris.

Therefore, the prior dialogue is likely referring to Eggs from previous chapters that you may have missed—not more Eggs in this chapter.
