Baldur’s Gate 3 leaves Early Access on PC in favor of its full release on August 3. With many players excited to dive into the new adventure, they are left wondering when the game will become available. Luckily, Larian Studios has made that information known.
In a post on Steam, the company said that Baldur’s Gate 3 will launch at 5 pm Gent time. For those in the United States, that’s 11 am EST/8 am PST. You can see the map below with the various times.
If you were planning on getting ready earlier to play right when it unlocks, you’re going to be disappointed. Baldur’s Gate 3 won’t offer preloading, meaning when it unlocks you’ll have to download the 122GB game at that time.

In addition to PC, Baldur’s Gate 3 will be available on PS5. However, the game doesn’t launch on that platform until September 6. That said, it will feature cross-saves for those that want the game on both platforms.
“Whether you’re playing on PC, Mac, or PS5, you’ll be able to upload your saves to the cloud via your Larian account and continue right where you left off on a different platform,” Larian said.
