Roadcraft is the next big release from Saber Interactive, following the likes of Snowrunner and Expeditions, and we’ve got all the details on the Roadcraft release date.
With over 40 vehicles, ranging from bulldozers to construction cranes, and co-op for up to four players, Roadcraft has plenty to offer and takes a huge leap forward in the simulation series by offering such a wide variety of gameplay.
Roadcraft has eight massive maps, each 4km-squared in size, so there are hours of gameplay. I can’t wait to dive in and, if you’re in the same boat, take a look at our guide for everything you need to know.
Roadcraft Release Date

Roadcraft has an official release date of May 20 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
The release comes just over a year after Expedition: A Mudrunner Game, a spin-off title, and seven years following the release of Snowrunner.
Roadcraft will be the fourth entry in the mainline series, which began over a decade ago with Spintires.
Roadcraft Start Times
Official Roadcraft release times are yet to be announced by Saber Interactive, though we expect it to be midnight local time—meaning a staggered release globally.
If that is the case, players in New Zealand and Australia will be the first to be able to jump into the game, although a shared global release time could be announced as we get closer to launch.
We’ll keep you posted when Saber Interactive provides an exact timing for the release.
Does Roadcraft Have Early Access?
No, there is no early access available for Roadcraft, even if you purchase the Rebuild Edition for an additional $10. Instead, the bonuses provided by that version are additional maps, new contracts, new vehicles, and new activities later down the line.
Although you can’t jump into the full game early, there was an opportunity to test the game as part of the Steam Next Fest event from February 24 to March 3 with the Roadcraft demo.
The demo was exclusively on Steam, however, so those on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S have not had an opportunity to try Roadcraft out yet.
