EA FC might be an annual title, but that doesn’t stop EA Sports from adding new features and mechanics with each yearly release. This time around, one of the new additions to EA FC 27 is the Hall of FUT, and there’s a lot to unpack.
Of course, in a year like this one, which is seeing the implementation of EA FC’s first-ever open world game mode, The Grounds, the Hall of FUT might be going under the radar slightly, but it’s something well worth keeping your eyes on—especially if you’re an Ultimate Team player.
With that in mind, here’s what the Hall of FUT is in EA FC 27, as well as how to obtain them.
Hall Of FUT In EA FC 27, Explained
The Hall of FUT is a new card rarity type in EA FC 27 Ultimate Team, and it’s set to honor some of EA FC’s greatest players from the franchise’s past.
Everyone is familiar with ICONs and Heroes, with these card types immortalising some of the sport’s greatest athletes into the game forever. However, Hall of FUT, a play on the Hall of Fame notion, is a slight step below those elite tiers, as they look to honor elite players on the virtual pitch of EA FCs and FIFAs past.
New additions will arrive throughout EA FC 27’s life cycle, but for now, five players are being inducted into the honorable ranks of the Hall of FUT, including:
- Adebayo Akinfenwa
- Marouane Fellaini
- Loic Remy
- Eljero Elia
- Giovani Dos Santos
For fans of the franchise, you’ll have likely used at least one of these names in your prior Ultimate Teams, and now it’s time to welcome them back into the game. But how can you get your hands on them?
How To Obtain Hall Of FUT Players In EA FC 27
You’ll be able to acquire Hall of FUT players in EA FC 27 the same way you can earn any other cards in the game: through opening packs and earning rewards.
Available in packs, player picks, Squad Building Challenges, Objectives and Seasonal rewards, you’ll have a chance to earn these illustrious cards in a variety of ways.
That said, if you really want to guarantee yourself one of these cards, you can always pre-order the Ultimate Plus Edition of EA FC 27, with one of the benefits on offer being a 1 of 5 Player Pick for the five inductees. Of course, that’s an expensive order, so it might be best to hope for some pack luck instead.
