It’s that time of year again when EA invites a select handful of players to experience the new footy game. EA FC 27 has officially been announced, along with the Closed Beta test, and dates and times.
The EA FC 27 Closed Beta will be the first chance for many to play FC 27 to test out the different changes to Ultimate Team, Career Mode, Clubs, and see what The Grounds is all about.

How to Get Access to the EA FC 27 Closed Beta
The only way to play the EA FC 27 Closed Beta is to be selected by EA.
An open beta is a free-for-all where you can either sign up or download and play right away. The EA FC 27 Closed Beta is anything but, and requires you to be chosen to play.
If you’re desperate for a code, here’s a method that might work:
- Log in to your EA account.
- Go to account settings.
- Change your regional settings to the United Kingdom or the United States.
- Select EA Sports FC as your favourite title.
- Enable email notifications.
- Hopefully, EA reacts and pings you with the registration survey.
Let me be clear: This is NOT a guaranteed method, but the best chance you’ll probably have if you want to play the Closed Beta.

According to social media, you need to be emailed by EA to fill out and complete a registration survey, and this is likely only for those who are emailed by EA regularly about FC surveys.
Once you submit the form: ‘You will receive a confirmation email by July 31, 2026, with additional details and steps.’
The survey says you’ll be able to download the beta one day before it starts, and provides details on the dates and times.
FC 27 Closed Beta Start Date
The EA FC 27 Closed Beta is scheduled to start on August 5 and will run through August 25.
Yes, there will be nearly three weeks to enjoy the FC 27 Closed Beta, with EA desperate to test all aspects of the new game, with some of the franchise’s most loyal and dedicated players.
