Warzone 2 is set to launch with Modern Warfare 2 Season 1 on November 16 with the game’s file size to be around 115GB it has been reported.
That’s according to Microsoft dataminer ALumia Italia, who has reported that the file size for Xbox will be 115GB (and presumably similar file sizes for PlayStation and PC).
This will be on top of Modern Warfare 2’s 100GB, meaning both games installed will now be around a quarter of the typical 1TB console space we’re used to.
In addition, both Warzone 2’s and Modern Warfare 2’s file size will only get larger as the game progresses throughout the years with more weapons, maps, and more being added to the titles. Warzone’s second large map, Las Almas, has already been found as an Easter Egg within the Modern Warfare 2 campaign.
It’s believed that Warzone 2 will be very similar to the original, with Warzone 2 having multiple games incorporated into it over the coming years.
Warzone 2 and the Al Mazrah map are scheduled to release on November 16, with the addition of Warzone 2’s new DMZ mode called the Deployment Zone. Pre-loads for Modern Warfare 2 Season 1 and Warzone 2 are set to start on November 14.
