WARDOGS officially launched today, but the game has seen constant server issues and downtime. The official WARDOGS social media accounts have been offering updates as they continue to battle server issues, and players may have experienced those issues with error codes, long queues, or simply not being able to get into the game.
Are the WARDOGS Servers Down?
At the time of writing, the WARDOGS servers are currently down, and the WARDOGS team has advised that players may need to download a new Steam client in order to play.
While we haven’t received any other updates on the server issues, we’ll update this article as soon as we know more, so be sure to refresh this page periodically.
UPDATE – Launch Stability Update has gone live.
The update reads,
We have now released a small client update to help address the issues we’ve been seeing since launch.
- All currently logged-in players will be forced to close WARDOGS and restart the game.
- You will then be prompted to download the latest client update.
- Once the update has been installed and you relaunch the game, all players will return to the login queue.
- We will then begin allowing players into the game in controlled batches.
- As we confirm that players are successfully entering and populating servers, we will gradually increase the number of players being let through.
This client hotfix is intended to address several of the issues we have been seeing, including:
- Extended login queue times.
- Players unable to join servers.
- Players being unexpectedly kicked from servers during play.
How Many Players are on WARDOGS?
STEAMDB shows that WARDOGS had a peak concurrent player count of 337,157, however, that is likely just the number of people who have loaded the client, as the majority of people couldn’t play the game.
Players on social media have complained that they have been waiting in queues for hours on end.
How Long is WARDOGS Server Queue?
Unfortunately, it’s the case of how long is a piece of string. WARDOGS developers have said that they will now be letting players into the game in controlled batches, so it could be minutes, or hours, depending on your queue number. Previously, it took around 10,000 players per 30 minutes. That could give you a rough idea, but it depends on how many players the developers can let in.
What is Error Code 1147405308
Error code 1147405308 is simply an error code that the developers have put for WARDOGS that simply means… The game servers are currently not working. Hundreds of players, even after the recent update have said online that they are still getting this code.
How to Access WARDOGS Servers
Quite simply, you need to be patient and wait for your chance to access the WARDOGS servers, as they are overloaded with players and likely working at, or beyond, capacity.
