Voice Chat is the tried-and-tested function that lets you communicate with your friends and other players on your team and in the lobby. Reports of a voice chat issue have been widespread throughout testing, but the devs have found the solution.
When you think of voice chat, you probably think of CoD lobbies circa the late 2000s to early 2010s. It’s become a must-have staple for online gaming and is present in multiplayer titles today—such as WARDOGS.
It hasn’t been smooth sailing in the shooter, though.
VOIP Not Working Solution For WARDOGS
If you find that voice chat is cutting out and you are losing the connection, then the solution is to simply turn voice chat off and then on again, and it should fix the issue.
This is why we have playtests and betas. With the impending WARDOGS early access launch of the plume-filled horizon, you can have server hitches and other technical issues, but not having voice chat is impossible.

Thankfully, as BULKHEAD has done since day one, the devs communicated the problem and issued a solution very quickly.
Reason For Voice Chat Mic Issue in WARDOGS, Explained
BULKHEAD says that the game’s third-party voice chat suffers outages, which is why the system needs to be reset.

Some of you are losing in-game Voice Chat. It’s a third-party outage affecting multiple titles. Not something we have direct control over, but we’re aware.
Toggling Voice Chat off and on in settings should fix it.
Sorry for the disruption.’
Not everyone is happy about the voice chat, nor does the solution seem to work for everyone. The replies to the solution post suggest it’s not a universal fix, and some players have suggested either going first-party or finding a different provider.

The issue suggests this could still be a problem moving forward, but I’m sure BULKHEAD will keep the community updated on any voice chat changes.
