OMODA Revealed as VCT & Game Changers Main Partner

Riot Games has announced that OMODA will act as the main partner of VCT EMEA and Game Changers VCT, making it the first automotive partner in Valorant.

OMODA is a brand of the Chinese car manufacturer, Chery Automobile, specializing in Electric Vehicles and Hybrids. The brand entered the European market in 2024, signing a deal to manufacture cars in Nissan’s factory in Barcelona in the same year.

OMODA set to feature in VCT EMEA offerings

The deal will extend through 2028, with the brand now sponsoring the Most Valuable Player (MVP) awards at the Finals of each split, acting as the presenting partner for the award after the Stage’s trophy ceremony.

VCT and OMODA have also shared plans to show off the cars at VCT’s in-person events, including at the VCT Stage 2 Barcelona Finals, VCT EMEA’s first-ever event outside of the Riot Games Arena.

OMODA will also be integrated into VCT EMEA’s ‘Show Stopper’ segment for match of the week, both in studio and at live events.

Charlie Allen, EMEA Director of Commercial Partnerships & Business Development at Riot Games, commented on the partnership, stating:

“OMODA has shown real commitment to the thriving VALORANT esports ecosystem by partnering with us on a multi-year partnership, and we’re very excited to collaborate with them to enhance the player experience for our fans across EMEA.

“Bringing in OMODA as our first automotive partner on VCT demonstrates the growth, global relevance, and mainstream attraction of our league and game. Together, we can innovate, elevate the region’s events to new heights, and create more memorable experiences for our fans.”

Jingya Liao, Global Brand Director of OMODA provided the following statement:

“We don’t just follow trends—we create them. Partnering with VCT EMEA and Game Changers EMEA is a natural extension of our Born Global, Born Unique spirit.

“Esports is where passion, technology, and self-expression collide, and that’s exactly the energy we bring to mobility. Together, we’re giving young pioneers around the world a new way to connect—whether they’re clutching a round or gripping the wheel.”
