Ubisoft+ Set To Debut on Xbox As 64-Game List Leaks

It’s something that has been floating around the gaming world for more than a year, and it looks as though it’s set to happen any day now. For so long, the promise of Ubisoft+ coming to Xbox has been a tantalising one, but despite constant rumours and supposed dates, it’s yet to be delivered.

However, a list of 64 games has been uncovered by True Achievements, hidden in the Xbox API and bearing a secret tag marking them as ‘Ubisoft+’. Not only that, but according to Twitter user @ALumia_Italia, a product ID has been uncovered in the Microsoft Store directly connected to the Ubisoft+ platform.

Could Ubisoft+ land on Xbox platforms in the coming days?

It Has Been a Long Time Coming

If you’re a Ubisoft fan (or you want to become one), then Ubisoft+ is one of the best offers you’ll ever see in gaming. It’s a subscription service that offers up almost every Ubisoft franchise ever created, from Rainbow Six to Assassin’s Creed, and from Far Cry to The Division. Not only that, but it offers them up on the most silver of platters, bringing players the top edition of each game, complete with all expansions.

Last month, Ubisoft+ was rumoured to be arriving on the Xbox store, but that came and went. That information was based on some mysterious changes that took place in a Ubisoft storefront, but it turned out to be a red herring. Now, changes to the Xbox API and the Microsoft Store itself make for a much more promising prospect.

True Achievements has worked hard to uncover an expansive list of titles (64, to be precise), that will allegedly form the backbone of the Ubisoft+ offering on Xbox platforms:

  • Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China
  • Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: India
  • Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: Russia
  • Assassin’s Creed III Remastered
  • Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag
  • Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
  • Assassin’s Creed Origins
  • Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered
  • Assassin’s Creed Syndicate

At present, there’s no knowing how much Ubisoft+ will cost on Xbox, but it has already been suggested that it won’t be included as a part of Xbox Game Pass. However, if we use the PC platform as a working example, it should cost around £12.99 or $14.99.

Recently, Ubisoft has found itself in hot water, needing to cancel three unannounced projects to cut costs across the board. Will the launch of Ubisoft+ on Xbox help to shore up those losses?
