Battlestate Games just dropped one hell of a TarkovTV showcase, unveiling everything coming to the Escape from Tarkov universe this year and beyond. Amongst the revelations and promises for what’s happening to the base game, Nikita Buyanov, the head of the studio at Battlestate Games, revealed that not one, not two, but three Escape from Tarkov games are in the works.
Alongside the core extraction shooter title and the Arena spin-off title, Battlestate Games is also working on a mobile game, a single-player game, and a free Steam title.
Here’s what we know.
Escape from Tarkov’s Universe is Getting Much Wider
Battlestate Games has confirmed that three Tarkov titles are in development:
- An unnamed mobile game
- An unnamed single-player game
- Escape from Tarkov: Guncyclopedia
The mobile game will not be a mobile port of Escape from Tarkov, the team confirmed. The single-player title will be rooted in the Escape from Tarkov universe but will be released as an episodic series. This is what was confirmed by Nikita Buyanov in today’s super-sized TarkovTV broadcast.
The only game revealed with a name and identity was Escape from Tarkov: Guncyclopedia, a free-to-play application that will land on Steam this year. This, too, is a spin-off game, but one that focuses on the weapon-building elements of Escape from Tarkov.

Players will be able to take every attachment, item, and gadget featured in Tarkov’s extensive weapon builder function and toy around with builds in Guncyclopedia. They’ll be able to demo weapons, try them out in a range of shooting environments, and perhaps port the builds back into Escape from Tarkov.
The team also suggested that, eventually, a VR version of Guncyclopedia could emerge.
Finally, it was confirmed that Escape from Tarkov’s console version is still in development, and the team is in discussions with multiple companies regarding porting the game to PlayStation and Xbox.
