Kingdom Hearts Creator Teases Disney+ Anime Possibilities
Tetsuya Nomura’s involvement with the Disney show was confirmed on Twitter. The creator sent a memo to fans confirming that he and others who worked on the video games have been involved in creating the forthcoming TV show.
While he couldn’t reveal full plot details, he confirmed that the series is creating new characters exclusively for it. Beyond that, he encourages fans to let their imaginations run wild.
We can’t discuss all the details just yet, but I’ve been in close discussions with the scenario team, including myself, and when needed, we’ve also enlisted the art team’s cooperation, even creating multiple new character designs specifically for this project.
I can’t say anything more right now, but the hint is in the single piece of key art that’s been revealed. Please let your imaginations run wild while you await further updates.
The series will also air on the Disney Channel. No premiere date has been announced yet. Insider Gaming will continue to monitor the story and report any updates as more information becomes available.
