Tango Gameworks To Debut New Game Soon, Insider Claims

A reliable insider claims that a new game from Tango Gameworks could be set to be announced this week. Billbil-kun posted on Twitter on Tuesday that the next game from Bethesda and Tango Gameworks is coming, and could be revealed at this week’s Xbox Developer_Direct event.

Called “Hi-Fi Rush”, not much is known about the game or what it entails. What billbil-kun did reveal is that the game will offer both a standard and deluxe version. Also, the game has been rated T for Teen by the ESRB.

Acquired by ZeniMax Media, the owner of Bethesda Softworks, in 2010 before being purchased by Microsoft in 2021, Tango Gameworks has released three main games. The first was The Evil Within back in 2014. That game was followed up by The Evil Within 2 in 2017. It’s latest title was the PlayStation 5 console exclusive Ghostwire: Tokyo.

Tango Gameworks did launch a mobile game called Hero Dice in March 2022. However, that game has already been shut down by the studio.

Hi-Fi Rush will be the first game to be announced by Tango Gameworks since the $7.5-billion acquisition of ZeniMax by Microsoft.

As far as the reveal of the game goes, there’s one thing to note. Billbil-kun simply mentions the possibility of the game being announced at the event. There is the possibility that the game gets announced at a later date and time. Either way, the game appears to be coming at some point if it’s already been rated by the ESRB.

Xbox and Bethesda’s Developer_Direct takes place on Wednesday, January 25 at 3 pm ET/8 pm GMT. During the event, fans will get new looks at games like Forza Motorsport, Redfall, Minecraft Legends, and more.
