A new announcement by Devolver Digital doesn’t mention an Xbox release window for Talos Principle 3.
It is surprising that no release window was mentioned for Xbox for the series finale, considering the second title was added to the Game Pass library earlier this year. Devolver Digital hasn’t given a reason; the only giveaway is their latest X post (formerly Twitter), which states that The Talos Principle 3 is coming to PC and PS5 in 2027.
Talos Principle 3 Could Come Later to Xbox, But No Official Confirmation Yet
Many fans in the comment section have raised the same question with the developers: why would they skip releasing the grand finale of The Talos Principle on one platform when the previous two parts already exist? Some speculate there could be a timed exclusivity deal with PlayStation. There’s a chance that Talos Principle 3 could come to Xbox later, but as of now, there are no signs of that.
A new teaser trailer for Talos Principle 3 has been released, and players can now add the game to their wishlist on Steam. This installment serves as the grand finale of the series, introducing a mix of familiar and brand-new puzzle mechanics. The story promises to be a thought-provoking, character-driven exploration of life, death, and the Sublime, crafted by the Talos writing team.
In other news, a new discovery suggests that Microsoft may be bringing its Xbox Game Pass service to China. Additionally, Xbox has posted a message advising on how to handle games you don’t like, branding them ‘bad games’. What are your thoughts on Talos Principle 3 not coming to Xbox?
