New mods are already being posted for Forza Horizon 6, before the game has even been released.
Forza Horizon 6’s early access doesn’t arrive until tomorrow, May 15, 2026, and the full release will arrive May 19 for Xbox Series X/S and PC via Steam. However, even before the game has been released, modders have found a way to release new mods for the upcoming racing title by Playground Games.
Forza Horizon 6 Already has a Tokyo Drift Mod Among Others
Spotted by TheGamer, there are already multiple mods for Forza Horizon 6 live on Nexus Mods. These mods vary from all types of gameplay and visual changes. The first one is a Realism Reshade mod that adds more vibrant color to the game. The next one is a Save File mod that lets players start the game and skip the tutorial.
Then we have probably one mod from a category that we will see a lot of in the future, Tokoyo Drift. This one doesn’t add much to the gameplay, but it does replace the menu video and the song with “Tokyo Drift”. Next is a mod for PlayStation fans, as it replaces Xbox key prompts with those used on DualSense. The last mod that is up right now disables the full HUD, with no checkpoints or destination markers.
This is just the beginning; once the game releases, players will see a plethora of new mods surface online.
In other news, check out Insider Gaming’s review of the game, where we have stated: “Forza Horizon 6’s Banksy-level vistas of Japan are breathtaking, and the improvements to the progression system have placed the title at the pinnacle of the racing genre once again.” What are your thoughts on Forza Horizon 6 mods already surfacing online?
