Foamstars is now free to play on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, with Square Enix pivoting eight months after the game was released.

Foamstars, the PlayStation equivalent to Nintendo’s Splatoon but with foam, is going free-to-play, Square Enix announced.

Sony has announced that Foamstars is launching February 6 for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
