Sony has announced that Foamstars is launching February 6 for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
In addition to launching on February 6, the company has announced that the game will be available for PlayStation Plus subscribers as part of the monthly games lineup. Players will be able to add Foamstars to their library until March 5. After that, it’ll cost $30 in the PlayStation Store.
“Foamstars is a brand-new 4v4 shooting game where players can enjoy a combination of a party-like atmosphere where mysterious foam builds up around you, and the intense moments during battle,” publisher Square Enix said.
The game will feature three multiplayer game modes for players to try out. The game modes are:
- Smash The Star: win the match by eliminating the opponent’s “Star Player”
- Happy Bath Survival: Fight from both inside and outside of the arena against the opposing team.
- Rubber Duck Party: Teams race to get to the center of the stage and fight over a rubber duck.
In addition to the multiplayer game modes, Foamstars will feature a mission mode that you can play alone or with up to three other players.
