Frostpunk 2 Launches First Half of 2024 – Coming to PC Game Pass Day 1

Frostpunk City Xbox Strategy Game

11 Bit Studios has announced that Frostpunk 2 will be launching in the first half of 2024 on PC and is coming to PC Game Pass on Day 1, and later in the year on Xbox Game Pass.

By the end of 2024, the game will be available on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Frostpunk 2 was first announced on August 12, 2021, and will take place 30 years after the “Great Storm” of the original title. You can watch the reveal trailer below:

The game takes place 30 years after the apocalyptic blizzard that has taken place in Frostpunk. Earth is still overwhelmed by the neverending frost and harsh, icy climate. You play as the leader of a resource-hungry metropolis where expansion and internal conflicts are an unavoidable reality. It’s up to you to make decisions about your City’s future and face their consequences.

In Frostpunk 2 you can build your City on a new scale by creating entire districts with different purposes. Make sure that all parts of the City work well together as well as research technologies that will set the direction for your citizens’ progress.

In June 2023, it was announced that 11 Bit Studios signed a new deal to bring its titles to Xbox Game Pass.

Another game by 11 But Studios, The Alters, is also still scheduled to be released by the end of 2024.

Frostpunk 2 will launch launch later in the year on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. You can visit the Frostpunk 2 website for more information.
